We decided to purchase a section and relocate a house so that our son and his partner could achieve getting into their first home. We approached Reuben through an add on Marketplace advertising, a beautiful 3 bedroom  “Cedar Bay“ house with a large deck area which we thought would be perfect. From our first contact with Reuben and his team they have been fantastic, easy to deal with, helpful and informative about the process ahead, Reuben made some great suggestions when I was scratching my head as I had never relocated a house before and his communication was first class. We’ve relocated second-hand houses before, and our previous experiences left us feeling this process was typically rough and unprofessional. Working with AHL changed our perspective. As experienced builders, they take pride in their work. The house was beautifully renovated prior to transport, it was properly braced before the move, and the house remained flawless after the move, even after relocating the house a significant distance from Auckland to Whangamata. They took their time and the communication has always been supportive. We will gladly work with them again in the future.

About 9 years ago we moved our first home and here we are all these years later. All I can say is the experience we have had so far is polar opposite. When looking at a Relocatable house we are always fixated on the house itself but actually the company you choose is incredibly important for the whole process. This time around we used AHL and had consistent communication, support from the move, purchase and architectural advice. Reuben, Daniel and their team at AHL were amazing. They lifted our house for us after the Auckland Anniversary weekend floods with a complete willingness to help as soon as they could. Reuben and Dan at AHL were very professional and a pleasure to deal with. They transported our house from Remuera to Ngongotaha completing the job May 2024. Phone calls and emails were answered promptly dealing with our queries. The whole crew that worked at our site were always pleasant, very organised and worked well with our builder. The crew were always laughing showing they worked well as a team and left the site immaculate. We would recommend them to anyone choosing this option.
